Black Friday with ATI

<cry>nVidia has been nice to me, why did I change to ATI...<\cry>

I have been using nVidia video cards since MX200 first hit the market, and their cards have been nice to me and my computers.

On the past Black Friday, I bought an ATI X1600 Pro 512Mb from Best Buy to replace my nVidia FX5700 Pro 128 Mb. However, my computer wouldn't start after I installed the ATI card... To make long story short: I am a technically person, so I fixed the problem and my computer worked again, eventually.

Then the computer became kinda slow, being a perfectionist (a.k.a. Virgo XD), I formatted the HD and re-installed Windows XP. (Also re-installed MS Office, Visual Studio, Java, Drivers, Apps, blah blah blah ...) The computer is good again! (Took me two days...)

The moral of this story:
I will never buy another non-nVidia video card again.
